This is where Prophet Muhammad S.A.W was born

This is where the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is thought to have been born though there is no conclusive evidence to prove it:

Previously, there was a small Masjid built by the Ottomans on its place along with a dome and a small minaret:

This was converted into a library by the Saudis:

And here is what the library looks like from inside:

It is unclear what will happen to the library after the expansion plans have been completed but the following plan and model show that the area may be simply kept empty devoid of any structures:
